Ewam Kusum Ling Taiwan Welcomes the 2017 New Year!

Khenpo Ugyen Wangchuk along with 50 members of the Ewam Kusum Ling Taiwan Sangha welcomed the New Year with the 3rd Annual Nymgyalma 1,000 offering practice. Nymgyalma (Ushnishavijaya in Sanskrit), an emanation of Tara, has long been associated with her connection to longevity, and the process of spiritual purification. She is one of the female bodhisattvas who is considered able to help put an end to misery and suffering and who along with Amitayus and Sitatara (White Tara), constitutes one of the three Buddhas of long life. Her short mantra is OM BHRUM SOHA / OM AMRITA AYUR DA DAI SOHA. Happy New Year to all!
