Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche welcomes Yangsi Rinpoche in Chauntra (Bir) India

At the direction of Tulku Sang-nang Rinpoche, Yangsi Rinpoche will begin his studies at the Dzongsar Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö College of Dialectics (DKCLI) in Chauntra (near Bir) India.

Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche welcomed Yangsi to DKCLI in June. Yangsi, Ugyen Jigme Choki Palter Rinpoche, was enthroned in 2015 and has spent the past few years studying Tibetan language and grammar in Varanasi and Dharamsala India. Yangsi will now undertake intensive study of Buddhist philosophy at DKCLI under the guidance of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche.

Jamyang Khyentse Chokyi Lodro, Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche’s previous incarnation, recognized Yangsi Rinpoche’s previous incarnation Pedgyl Lingpa as an authentic Terton. We rejoice in the lamas karmic connection for lifetimes in the past and for the continuing fruition in this lifetime for the benefit of all beings.
